With around 50 years' experience in the building industry, Barry brings an unmatched depth of knowledge to every project undertaken by Nth Qld Construction Consulting. Barry began his career as a Cadet Architectural Draftsman before expanding into building construction as a second string to his drafting profession, gaining hands-on experience across both design and construction disciplines.

Drawing on this dual expertise, Barry went on to establish his own company, combining Building Design and Project Management services under one roof. As Managing Director, Barry continues to oversee projects from concept through to completion, bringing a rare level of technical insight, industry knowledge and practical experience to every client relationship.

With 45 years' experience in the industry, Glenn brings unparalleled depth of knowledge to every project. He began his career as a Cadet Drafter in an engineering office, before running his own drafting business in Charters Towers and undertaking geological drafting for a mining company. After a further 16 years working independently, Glenn returned to Townsville, working with engineers and later a demountable building company, before joining Nth Qld Construction Consulting in 2020.

Glenn guides projects from a client's initial sketch through to detailed 3D renders and full construction drawings ready for certification. Having witnessed the evolution from drawing boards to 2D CAD, full 3D BIM modelling with Revit and Enscape, and now AI-assisted design, Glenn combines decades of practical expertise with a genuine enthusiasm for new technology.

Lachlan joined NQCC in 2019, moving into full-time employment the following year to commence his cadetship. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Building Design at CQU, working towards qualification as a Building Designer. Lachlan's role spans building design drawings, client meetings, presentations and site measure-ups, alongside company administration including project setup, quotations and consultant engagement.

Lachlan assists in project management, contributing to tender documentation, contractor coordination, progress claims, defect inspections and stakeholder communication throughout each project. Lachlan takes pride in translating clients' ideas into fully realised projects, and values the variety and technical growth each new project brings.
